The blessing of the moon ( Heb. קידוש לבנה , Kiddush Levana ) - prayer, pronounced at the sight of the moon after the new moon . The blessing should not be pronounced not in the first three days after the calculated moment of the new moon ( molad in the Hebrew calendar ) and not later than the full moon. Usually they read at a crowd at the end of Saturday near the synagogue , but you can read it alone. In the month of Tishri, the blessing of the moon is read after Judgment Day ( Yom Kippur ), and in the month of Av , after the end of the post of the 9th Av .
