At the 1991 home orienteering world championship, held in the vicinity of the town of Marianske Lazne , Petr Kozak won the gold medal in the short run. [2]
At a distance of 5.8 km with 10 control points, Petr Kozak beat Kent Ulson and Martin Johansson , who became the silver and bronze medalists, respectively, in less than a minute. [3]
