The eldest son of three times British Prime Minister Stanley Baldwin and his wife Lucy (née Reedsdale; 1869-1945).
Biography
He graduated from Eton College . Member of the First World War and the Armenian-Turkish War . He was captured.
In 1929 - 1931 - Member of the Parliament of Great Britain from Dudley County (as opposed to his father, Labor ). Since 1937 he had the title of courtesy of Viscount Corvedale .
Member of World War II , which he graduated as a major .
In 1945 - 1947 - Member of Parliament from Paisley County. The death of his father in 1947 made him 2nd Earl of Baldwin of Buildly and a member of the House of Lords , depriving him of a seat in the House of Commons .
In 1948 - 1950 - Governor of the Leeward Islands .
