Biography
Born in the family of a naval officer (hereinafter - retired vice-admiral ) P.F.Sablin (July 26, 1839 - August 13, 1914). In 1898 he graduated from the Naval Cadet Corps . In the fleet - Sablin 2nd. [one]
He held the position of orderly commandant of Vladivostok . He participated in the suppression of the Boxer Rebellion . In 1903, he was a flag officer to the commander of the Baltic Coast Defense Practical Defense Unit (1903).
During the Russo-Japanese War, the watch commander on the cruiser " Almaz " made the transition to the Pacific Ocean in the squadron of Rozhestvensky and participated in the Tsushima battle .
Officer of the imperial yacht "Standart" (1906-1908), (1909-1911). Adjutant Outhouse (March 25, 1912). In 1911-1914, he was a senior officer of the Standard. He was a man close to the royal family.
In August 1914, he was appointed to be under Nicholas II during the emperorβs stay in the theater of operations. Since November 26, 1915 - commander of the Separate Battalion of the Guards crew.
After the February Revolution on March 24, 1917, he was dismissed.
During the civil war he was in the Armed forces of the South of Russia . Evacuated in 1920 from Odessa . By the summer of 1921 in Constantinople . In exile in Germany, a member of the mutual assistance union serving in the Russian fleet in Berlin . Then in France, chairman of the Guards Crew Association.
Shortly before his death, Sablin asked the writer Roman Gul to record his memories. Gul put Sablin's short stories about swimming with the imperial family on the βStandardβ and about Gregory Rasputin in his book [2] .
Died in Paris. He was buried in the Russian cemetery of Sainte-Genevieve-des-Bois .
