Tar area is an area in Saratov . Its main part is in the Oktyabrsky district, and only its extreme western part is in Zavodsky. Previously, the square was adjacent to Bolshaya Sergievskaya Street , now the Olympia Hotel, the Sports Palace and the pool [1] were built on this square, and the square itself has become similar to the street (its width is 22 meters, its length is almost 650 meters and its ratio the sides, thus, is almost 1:30, and the area is 14,300 m², although previously it was 126,750 m² with an area width of about 195 m). [2]

Not far from Tar Square in the summer were the marinas of shipping companies.
Adjacent driveways and the street are adjacent to the square. Earlier, the name "Degtyarny" had several lanes (some of which became driveways, such as International, and one - Gribova Street ), as well as a carriage (now part of Degtyarnaya Street ).
