According to the season results, Yulia Fomenko was selected to participate in the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing , but as a result of finding doping inconsistencies, she was barred from participating in them. [3] [4] , Daria Pishchalnikov , Tatyana Tomashova , Yulia Fomenko and Olga Yegorova from participating in all competitions due to suspicion of substitution of doping tests: it turned out that in the samples taken in April - May, August - September 2007, as well as July 21, 2008 year does not match the DNA [5] . The All-Russian Athletics Federation decided to disqualify Russian women for two years from the moment they took samples. Thus, by the summer of 2009, seven athletes were to be allowed to compete. The court ruled that the deadline for the disqualification was to begin its countdown from September 3, 2008 (for Olga Yegorova - from October 20) - from the moment of dismissal from the competition. The total period of disqualification was two years and nine months. April 30, 2011 disqualification for all athletes ended.
