Andrei Vilenovich Ryabov (born May 6, 1956 ) is a Russian political scientist and teacher. Corresponding member of the International Academy of Informatization, member of the Russian Association of Political Science. Editor-in-chief of the journal “ World Economy and International Relations ”.

Biography
Graduated from Moscow State Historical and Archival Institute in 1978 , candidate of historical sciences ( 1981 , subject: “Classification of documents by archival funds”), associate professor.
In 1981–1985 , he was an assistant at the Department of Archival Theory and Methodology of the Moscow State Historical and Archival Institute .
In 1985-1998 , he was an assistant professor at the Department of Sociology of the Moscow Mining Institute (today - the Mining Institute of NUST “MISiS” ).
In 1988-1991 - editor of the historiography department of the journal “ Issues of the History of the CPSU ” ,.
From April to December 1991 - editor of the politics department of the journal “Prospects”.
In 1992, he was a senior researcher at the Center for International Programs of the Russian Independent Institute of Social and National Problems .
In 1993 - Senior Researcher, Department of the Contemporary Political Process of Russia, Moscow State University .
From 1993 to 1996 - Deputy Chief Editor of the Centaur Magazine.
In 1993-2002 , he was Deputy Director of the Center for Political Science Programs of the Gorbachev Foundation .
In 1994-1997 , he was deputy editor-in-chief of the journal Vestnik Moskovskogo universiteta (series Political Sciences).
From 1998 to 2002, he was a political observer for the Vek newspaper.
He was a member of the scientific council of the Carnegie Moscow Center as a co-chair of the program “Russian Domestic Politics and Political Institutions”.
In 2011, he was nominated as a candidate for deputy at the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation of the VI convocation on the federal list of the Yabloko party.
