Oncidiinae is a subtribe of the tribe Cymbidieae , the subfamily Epidendra , the Orchidaceae family .

The name of the subtribe is derived from the name of the type genus of subtribe - Oncidium .

Sympodial plants from small to large sizes.
Most species have well-developed pseudobulbs and conduplicate leaves .
