Melikova Nonna Eduardovna - Russian fashion designer, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, professor, member of the Artists Union of the Russian Federation.
Biography
Born in 1948. She graduated with honors from the Leningrad Higher School of Industrial Art named. V.I. Mukhina in 1974. She worked in the Leningrad House of Fashion Models, in the group of perspective modeling, specializing in the creation of creative collections for foreign and domestic exhibitions in 1974-1991. Led the group of promising modeling LDMO in 1990-1991. Member of the DPI department of the Leningrad Branch of the Union of Artists since 1986. Member of the Art Council of SDPI LOSKh since 1989. Artistic director of Mona Design Studio, 1992-1995. President and artistic director of the Non-State Institution of Culture "Design Studio Nonna Melikova", 1995-2005. Author of the idea and concept, artistic director of the International Competition of Young Designers "Admiralteiskaya Needle", 1997-2000 Professor of St. Petersburg State University of Technology and Design. Gone from the creative life in 2012. Models and sketches of Nonna Melikova are in the collections of the State Museum of History of St. Petersburg and the Russian Ethnographic Museum.
