The Iraq Campaign Medal is the United States military award awarded for participating in the Iraq War (2003-2010). Established by decree of US President George W. Bush 13363 of November 29, 2004. Presented since 2005.

Description
Bronze medal - 3.49 cm in width. On the front side is the silhouette of Iraq with the image of the Tigris and Euphrates rivers , framed by a palm wreath; in the upper part is the inscription “IRAQ CAMPAIGN” (IRAQ CAMPAIGN). On the back is a statue of Liberty framed by sunbeams; below it are two crossed scimitar (with blades down), even lower - the inscription "FOR SERVICE IN IRAQ" (FOR SERVICE IN IRAQ).
Ribbon
The ribbon is 3.49 cm wide and consists of the following color strips: 0.40 cm - scarlet; 0.16 cm white; 0.08 cm green; 0.16 cm white; 0.40 cm - black; 1.11 cm suede; 0.40 cm - black; 0.16 cm white; 0.08 cm green; 0.16 cm white; 0.40 cm - scarlet.
Criteria
US military personnel must be awarded, from March 19, 2003 to December 31, 2011 serving at least 30 (uninterrupted) or 60 (intermittently) days in Iraq or in waters at a distance of up to 12 nautical miles from the coast. Military personnel who meet one of the following criteria are also awarded:
- directly involved in hostilities against enemy forces with a threat to their life and health (regardless of their service life);
- dead or injured / injured serious enough for a medical evacuation from Iraq (regardless of service life);
- as a member of the crew of the aircraft, flying to Iraq, from Iraq or over Iraq as part of a military operation, and every day, when at least one flight was made, the specified 30 or 60 days are counted.
