Endoscopic facelift - a surgical facelift performed according to the latest endoscopic techniques. Endoscopic surgery appeared about 30 years ago, but its methods were transferred to the field of aesthetic medicine only 10 years ago. Face reconstruction using endoscopic techniques was first described by Dr. Ramirez ( USA ). These techniques give good results; incisions during facelift are relatively small and inconspicuous. The key point of endoscopic technology is not tissue excision, but its reposition. Endoscopic technique is mainly used in the upper and middle parts, much less often in the lower parts of the face.
