History
Union Douala is one of two Cameroonian clubs along with Canon Yaounde , whose collection contains two international trophies won - the Champions Cup and the Cup of CAF Cup winners . The club’s best years were in the second half of the 70s - the beginning of the 80s, when both continental trophies were won, as well as two Cameroon Champion titles and one Cameroon Cup was taken. After the “golden age”, the team fired only occasionally, winning their last, fourth, currently Championship of Cameroon in 1990 and winning the Cameroon Cup in 1985 and 1997. The beginning of the 21st century brought the club from Douala three “bronzes” and one “silver” in the championship of Cameroon, as well as the sixth victory in the national Cup.
