Biography

1938 - 1939 - Head of the Department of Marxism-Leninism of the Industrial Academy.

Since 1939 he worked in the system of the People's Commissariat of Foreign Affairs of the USSR .

Until September 7, 1940 - adviser-envoy of the USSR Embassy in Turkey .

September 17, 1940 - February 24, 1948 - plenipotentiary representative - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the USSR to Turkey.

From February 1948 to 1949, he was head of the Department for United Nations Affairs of the USSR Ministry of Foreign Affairs .

1949-1950 - Head of the 1st European Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the USSR.

In 1950 - 1953 - Chairman of the Broadcasting Committee of the Council of Ministers of the USSR .

From March to July 1953, he was head of the Main Directorate of Television of the USSR Ministry of Culture.

From July 7, 1953 to March 24, 1965 - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the USSR to France .

From March 1965 to June 1967, he worked in the apparatus of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the USSR, a member of the Board of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the USSR.

From August 29, 1967 to August 27, 1970 - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the USSR to the United Arab Republic .

Member of the Central Auditing Commission of the CPSU (1956-1966).

He died after a severe long illness.

He was buried at the Novodevichy cemetery in Moscow.
