Biography
Born into a peasant family, a Tatar . He graduated from the Tyumen Pedagogical College, worked as a teacher.
In 1937-1940 he served in the Red Army . Member of the Soviet-Finnish war of 1939-1940. Secondarily called up in June 1941. He graduated from the Tyumen Military Infantry School in 1941. In the battles of World War II from March 1942. Member of the CPSU (b) since 1943.
On June 24, 1944, the captain B. Yantimirov, deputy commander of the rifle battalion on the combat front, led the landing, the first with a group of soldiers crossed the Western Dvina and, organizing the attack, captured enemy trenches. Personally destroyed 11 Nazis and two light machine guns. Taking advantage of this success, the battalion crossed the river with minor losses.
On June 26, 1944, in a battle for the village of Sharypino, Beshenkovichi district, Vitebsk region , he was mortally wounded during the attack. Bleeding, he continued to shoot at the enemy. He was buried in the village of Sanniki, Beshenkovichi district.
By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of July 22, 1944, Captain Bulat Yanbulatovich Yantimirov was posthumously awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union for exemplary execution of combat missions of command.
