Bouncers (sport)

Bouncers (Dodgeball) - a dynamic ball game . Designed for several people [1] .

Content

Description

Three people or more are playing. Of these, one driver and two bouncers (bouncer). A playing field with a length of approximately 8-10 meters is outlined on both sides by lines behind which the bouncers stand, and the driver inside the field, or simply: the bouncers stand about 5-10 meters apart, and the driver between them.

Purpose of the game: to get on the lead with the help of the ball (knock it out).

The driver may catch the ball (candles) before it hits the ground.

You can play both outdoors and in a closed sports room.

Game Rules for Three Players

  • Players agree on the distance between the bouncers and draw lines that are closer to which the bouncers cannot approach each other - the greater the distance, the more difficult it is to bend and it is easier to dodge the ball.
  • The driver is between the bouncer.
  • Bouncers try to hit and “knock” him out.
  • The one who kicks the driver takes his place, and the former driver becomes the bouncer.
  • A caught candle is used as an extra life (you must hit it again to remove the candle).
  • Also, the bouncer can stand behind the bench and knock the driver out of the field.

Rules of the game with more than three players (two teams)

  • Players are divided into two teams: kickers and drivers.
  • Players agree on the distance between the bouncers and draw lines that are closer to which they cannot approach each other - the greater the distance, the more difficult it is to kick out and the easier it is to dodge the ball.
  • The team is surrounded by a bouncer team.
  • With the help of the ball, bouncers try to knock out drivers.
  • Knocked out players leave the field until all the team players are knocked out, and a “candle” can be caught from the bouncer. Catching a “candle” has the ability to either take an extra life, or return back one of the previously knocked out.
  • When the last driver remains, he must dodge the ball as many times as he is full years. If he dodged successfully, then the whole team comes back and it all starts from the beginning. Otherwise, the teams change places.

Game rules for more than three players (no teams)

  • Two bouncers are chosen, all other players
  • Players agree on the distance between the bouncers and draw lines that are closer to which they cannot approach each other - the greater the distance, the more difficult it is to kick out and the easier it is to dodge the ball.
  • With the help of the ball, bouncers try to knock out drivers using both regular throws and Special Throws.
  • Knocked out players leave the field in the waiting area
  • Players on the field can catch the ball at the hands of a bouncer (not off the ground) "candle." If you catch a “candle”, you get a “skin” that you can spend on yourself and stay on the field if they knocked him out, or return the previously knocked out player to the field from the waiting area. The skin burns out.
  • When the last player remains, he must dodge the ball as many times as he is full years. In this case, bouncers can use only simple throws. If he dodged successfully, then the whole team comes back and the game continues. Otherwise, the one who was knocked out first and last becomes bouncers.

Special Throws

First of all, you need to remember that any violation of the rules of these throws makes a driving bouncer.

  • “Potato” - a throw is like throwing a ball in a bowling alley, but remember that the potato does not fly. The ball should roll under the feet of the players in the center.
  • "Bomb" - throw up a candle. When shouting "Bomb!" The drivers should squat. You cannot catch a bomb.
  • “Grenade” is a throw like usual, in which you cannot move your legs.
  • “Trickle” - a throw on the bottom: the ball rolls and you need to catch it between your legs.
  • "Machine" - the bouncer puts the ball on the ground near him, players must run around him. As soon as the last player ran the bouncer he quickly takes the ball and tries to knock out the players.
  • “Orange” - the bouncer holds the ball on outstretched arms, each player must touch the ball. As soon as the last player touched the bouncer, trying to knock out the players.
  • “Family photo” - the bouncer stands with his back to the players, at this time the players stand next to each other forming a “family photo”. The bouncer throws the ball without looking at the players, players can not move.
  • “Frog” - The bouncer launches the ball by hitting the ground so that it bounces around the playing field. Players must jump over the ball as in the Frog game.
  • "Candle" is a gift to the players. The ball is thrown high into the sky as if throwing a “Bomb”, but players can safely move around the field and catch the ball.
