History
The airline was established in early 2001 and began operating flights on May 15 of the same year. Kartika Airlines is wholly owned by PT Truba . In 2004, its activities were suspended, but on June 15, 2005, the airline resumed operations.
April 3, 2012 Kartika Airlines was blacklisted by airlines that are prohibited from flying to the EU due to non-compliance with safety standards in the field of civil aviation [1] .
On March 1, 2013, it was reported that shipments of SSJ-100 aircraft for Kartika Airlines were in jeopardy, and on the 4th day the airline stopped operating operations.
