Russian panthers against racism in Israel The leader of the group was Merav Frolov. The Russian Panthers formed on the basis of support groups for victims of racist violence in Israeli educational institutions of the Lamerhav Voluntary Partnership (translated from Hebrew “Out to Space”) led by Michael Dorfman and Olga Filaretova.
In 2000 , on the recommendation of the Israeli Foreign Ministry , they participated as observers at the UN Conference against Racism in Durban ( South Africa ).
