Security Status

Relict endemic species.

It is found along the banks of the Kalmius River and on the Agarmysh massif near the town of Stary Krym .

Listed in the Red Book of Ukraine . It is protected in the protected tract Kirsanovo ( Telmanovsky district, Donetsk region ) and the nature monument of national importance Agarmyshsky forest . Grown in the Donetsk Botanical Garden .

Type Description

Semi-shrub . Plant height ranges from 2.5 to 10 centimeters.

Timber sprouts.

Leaves narrow linear elliptical. On both sides, the leaves are densely pubescent with short hairs.

Blossoms in July. Flowering branches upright. Inflorescences - thick brush . Corolla bright lilac color.

Propagated by seeds . Fruits in August.

It has a soil conservation value.

Ethereal plant .
