The first album of the American band Skid Row , published in 1989 , was named after the collective, in the formation of which John Bon Jovi , already very famous by that time, participated, which was not the first to show interest in promoting the so-called "glam" rock groups.

The first album of the group today is the most gentle and easily accessible to the mass listener, which led the group to the top of the charts. It sold over 3 million copies.

In support of the debut album, a world tour was organized, covering, among other things, the USA, Japan and the USSR (performance at the Moscow Music Peace Festival ).

The release of the debut album was accompanied by the filming of clips on the composition 18 And Life, Remember You, Piece of Me, Youth Gone Wild. After the release of the first album, Skid Row performed together with Bon Jovi , Cinderella , Metallica , Guns N'Roses , Gorky Park , Ozzy Osbourne and many other groups.
