Yew ( lat.Táxus ) - a genus of plants of the family Yew ( Taxaceae ). Species of the genus are slow- growing trees or shrubs with a height of 1 to 10 m. The trunk diameter can reach 4 m. Yew wood has been used for many centuries to make bows and spears.
