History
Wycombe Wanderers Football Club from High Wycombe was founded in 1887. Throughout its history, the team has performed in lower English divisions. In the 2000/01 season , the team reached the semifinals of the FA Cup , where they lost to Liverpool with a score of 2: 1. In the 2006/07 season, the team reached the semi-finals of the Football League Cup , where in a match with London Chelsea they were able to achieve a draw at home 1: 1, and on the away side lost 4-0.
In the 2013/14 season, playing in the Second League, Wycom became the 22nd, and only thanks to the best goal difference didn’t fly to the Conference .
In the 2014/15 season, the club could not make it to Ligue 1 , losing in the final of the Wembley playoffs to Southend United at a penalty of 6: 7 (the main time ended with a score of 1: 1).
Three years later, Wycom, taking 3rd place, received the right to play in League 1 of the 2018/19 season.
