Geography
The village is located in the southern spurs of the Ural Mountains , on the Guberlya River. The Bashkir name of the village is Bashk. Үҙәmbay .

History
The village of Uzembaevo appeared at the end of the 19th century, when the first settlers from the villages of the Orenburg province arrived here. The name of the village received on behalf of one of its settlers. Residents Uzembaevo engaged in hunting and animal husbandry. In the 1910s, when the Orenburg-Orsk railway began to lead here, the road for horse-drawn transport lay across the Uzembaevo, and in the future, a grader road was laid. The construction of the railway was suspended during the Civil War, but then resumed, and the inhabitants of the village also took part in it.
The administrative identity of the village has changed several times. Until May 1927, it was part of the Orsk district, then it became part of the Novopokrovsky district of the Orenburg province (from March 1931 to December 1934 - part of the Orsk district of the Middle Volga region), then became part of the Khalilovsky district, and February 1963 - January 1965 stayed temporarily in the Kuvandyk district as part of the Khalilov village council.
In the 1930s In the village, the collective farm Znamya Revolutsii was established, in which, besides Uzembaevo, the village of Abubakirovo also entered. In September 1950, the Banner of the Revolution merged with the Molotov collective farm (center in the village of Novonikolsk), in the spring of 1957, Uzembaevo became part of the larger collective farm Pobeda, and in March 1961, as a branch, it entered the Voronezh state farm. In 1975, the population of the village was 230 people, in 2002 - 169 people.
On October 19, 2001, a mosque was opened in Uzembaevo.
Until June 1, 2015 was part of the Khalilovskiy soviet .
June 1, 2015 municipalities, rural settlements Guberlinskoy village council , Iriklinskaya village council , Kameykinsky village council , Kolpaksky village council , Novonikolaevskii village council , Novopetropavlovsky village council , Repinsky village council , Khalilovsk village council of Ai district of Orenburg region are combined with urban district in the city of Gai Gai urban district [2] .
