Biography

Born October 18, 1940 in Moscow, in the family of People's Artist of the RSFSR N.K. Solomin . He studied at the Moscow Art School .

In 1959 - 1969 he studied at MGHI them. V.I. Surikov (workshop of Professor V.G. Tsyplakov ).

In 1969 , together with his classmate, later People's Artist of the Russian Federation, V. B. Tautiev joined the Studio of Military Artists named after M. B. Grekov .

In 1995 - 2000 - he painted the restored Cathedral of Christ the Savior in Moscow .

Since 2005, the head of the personal workshop of battle painting at Moscow State Art Institute named after V.I. Surikova .
