Biography
Mark Rudinstein was born on April 7, 1946 in Odessa , in the family of Israel (Kasryl) Grigorievich Rudinshtein, director of the Military Book store, and Tauba Isaakovna Rudinstein [3] . He had two older brothers. He began his career in 15 years at a shipyard in Nikolaev . After serving in the army [4] .
My father's name was Kostya. Hebrew - Casral. That is, in theory, I had to be Kasrylevich. When the state of Israel was formed in 1949 and “the leader of all times and nations” Stalin supported him, Izrailevich was teased his father. Just then, in 1949, in the Soviet Union a change of passports began. Dad wanted to change the name. So I became Izrailevich. True, when in 1967 I was drafted into the army, and Israel attacked Egypt, I received in full! At the service was oh, how bad, with that name and patronymic. I had to go to the trick and a little lie. My grandfather's name was Gregory, and I took the middle name after my grandfather. Everyone got used to it, although I remained Mark Izrailevich on the passport.
He studied at GITIS (did not graduate), then in 1972-1976 he studied at the part-time department at the Theater School. B. Shchukin (workshop of M. Ter-Zakharova ).
In the period from 1982 to 1983, he was the director and organizer of the concerts “Hello, song!”
Between 1982 and 1987, Rudinstein was either in prison or under investigation. He was convicted of "giving bribes" and "plundering socialist property" for 6 years, served 11 months, after which he was acquitted.
He was the organizer of the first rock festival in the USSR , which took place in Podolsk in the Green Stage in September 1987.
In 1989-1991, the general director of the Moscow Region film distribution company [5] . In 1994, Mark Rudinshtein tried to recreate the Golden Duke Film Festival.
In an interview with 2002, Ukrainian theater expert Natalia Vlashchenko spoke about the conflict with Nikita Mikhalkov [6] .
In early 2010, he made a memoir in which he frankly exposed the mores of national kinobogemy, after which he became the hero of a number of TV programs devoted to memoiristics, and the program “ Let They Speak ” was not aired [7] . In 2012, in a conversation with Dmitry Gordon, the producer recalled [8] :
Should I tell you that the charitable festival “Backyards”, the funds from which were sent to restore the church near Lenkom , is a myth? Three times I gave 600 thousand rubles ... Everything the casino ate ... Abdulov owed so much that he couldn’t keep up his head ... They voiced a very funny legend on the program “ Let They Say ” that Sasha allegedly sat in the casino, won the money and he immediately gave them to the shooting of pictures, but he could not win, by definition, because, no matter how much he won, he put more and more. This is godlessness - although, I repeat, it led to tragedy: everything around was built on lies, despite the fact that he was a talented actor.
