Aleksander Pavlovich Yakovenko ( Ukrainian: Olexander Pavlovich Yakovenko ; June 23, 1987, Kiev , Ukrainian SSR , USSR ) - Ukrainian football player , midfielder . The son of Kiev Dynamo player and USSR national team Pavel Yakovenko . His brother Yuri is also a footballer.

Biography

A pupil of the Kiev “Locomotive”, from which he transferred to the Kharkov “Metalist”. Then he was twice on the screenings in the German Schalke 04 . Deciding that he had not yet reached the level of the first team, Yakovenko accepted the offer of the Belgian Liers . In the Belgian championship, he made his debut at the age of 18, becoming in a short time the leader of the team. Interest in Yakovenko began to show interest on the part of " Standard " and " Genka ", he was on viewing in the Netherlands AZ . As a result, Yakovenko accepted Genka’s offer and signed a three-year contract. Together with the team he became vice champion and winner of the Belgian Cup. At the end of 2008 he ended up in Anderlecht . At the beginning of the 2009/10 season, he went on a one-year lease to the Westerlo Club.

In 2010, he was first called up to the national team of Ukraine, on May 17. During this gathering and debuted in the national team in an official meeting. Alexander Khatskevich - assistant to the head coach of the national team - rated Yakovenko’s prospects in the national team as “very good”, despite the fact that Yakovenko played below his level due to injury [2] .

In August 2013, Alexander Yakovenko became a player in the Italian Fiorentina , signing a three-year contract. January 28, 2016 it became known that the football player broke the contract with the Italian club [3] .

February 2, 2016 officially became a player in Kiev Dynamo [4] .

May 31, 2016 Alexander Yakovenko became a free agent.
