For some time, the Culture Club was considered part of the London movement of new romantics , then the single “Do You Really Want to Hurt Me”, which led the hit parade of Great Britain (and ten other countries of the world), brought them international fame [2] . A year later, the single " Karma Chameleon " cemented its success by leading the main charts of the world. Subsequently, the Culture Club became Grammy winners, 7 times (with singles) entered the British Top 10 (and 6 times - into the American) [3] , sold more than 35 million records worldwide. After the breakup of the group, Boy George began a successful solo career, which was seriously overshadowed by the problems associated with drug addiction and difficulties in rehabilitation [3] .
