Initially, the releasing labels wanted the best hits of the group to be included in this collection. However, group leader Robert Smith insisted on including songs from singles in the release over the past 10 years [1] . Then the Polydor Records label , according to Robert Smith, deliberately failed the album’s advertising campaign, reducing it only to the minimum specified in the contract. All this directly, again, according to Smith, influenced the fact that the release did not hit the top places of the charts and remained almost unnoticed.
