Branches of Ivan Nikitich Meshcherin-Yazykov
- from Andrei Ivanovich
According to the version of the most authoritative researchers of this genus, I. P. Sakharov and Yu. A. Zakhvatkin, the Simbirsk branch of Linguistic originates from the grandson of Ivan Nikitich Mescherin Yazykov - Karp Andreyevich . The ancestor of this branch is Alexander Yazykov , the son of Fedor Ivanovich Yazykov and Pelageya Andreevna Panova (mentioned 1669-1670), the great-great-grandson of Karp Andreyevich , who owned “half of the keys in Nizhny Novgorod” and was executed during the Oprichnina.
Alexander Fedorovich Yazykov , lived in the second half of the 17th century; he was granted the first of the Yazykovs estates in Simbirsk province. Probably his son Vasily Alexandrovich founded the village of Yazykovo .
From the representatives of this branch came the Simbirsk landowner, retired guards ensign Mikhail Petrovich (1774-1836), his children:
- Alexandra Mikhailovna (in the deputy. Valuev; 1796-1822), mother of D. A. Valuev
- Russian geologist Pyotr Mikhailovich (1798-1851);
- Alexander Mikhailovich (1799-1874) - landowner, collector of folklore [2] ;
- the famous poet Nikolai Mikhailovich (1803-1846);
- Ekaterina Mikhailovna (in the deputy. Khomyakova; 1817-1852) - the hostess of the literary salon, a close friend of N.V. Gogol.
The genus is recorded in the VI part of the genealogy book of the Simbirsk province.
The following branches of the Linguistic family are associated with the offspring of the grandson of Ivan Nikitich Mescherin Yazykov - Bartholomew Andreevich :
Branch of Moses Grigoryevich , Murom and Meshchersky nobleman. In 1597 he was a newcomer to Murom County. For the Moscow siege seat, he was granted the estate of the Meshchersky district (1620) on the estate. His sons owned estates in Shatsky, Arzamas and Alatyr counties.
Of the later representatives of this branch of the Linguistic, the most famous is Dmitry Ivanovich (1773-1845). According to the definition of the Department of Heraldry, he was recorded in the third part of the genealogy book of the Tambov province, as having begun a special kind, according to his personal merits.
The branch of Fyodor Grigorievich , the Murom landowner (from 1616), the brother of Moses, includes Pyotr Aleksandrovich Yazykov (1800-1869) - Lieutenant General, Railway Engineer, Director of the Department of Railways; his family is recorded in the VI part of the genealogy books of the Tambov, Nizhny Novgorod and Vladimir provinces.
One of the branches of the Yazykov family, recorded in the Vladimir province, dates back to Moses' third brother, Nikita Grigoryevich Yazykov , the landowner of Arzamas district (mentioned 1621-1623).
