In the 2008/09 season, he became the top scorer of Roma in the Champions League with three goals.
On September 7, 2010, Brighi extended the contract with Roma until 2014 [2] .
On August 31, 2011 he transferred to Atalanta on a one-year lease basis [3] [4] .
On August 11, 2012, he transferred to Torino on a one-year lease basis [5] [6] .
