Creativity
When creating collages, Jonathan Hernandez cuts images from magazines and newspapers, removing them from the original context , and then composes them on a formal basis , for example: association chains in Vulnerabilia (2006-08), round shapes in Estado vacioso (2008). One of his latest works is the wall relief of Intencion / Intuicion (2007), which he created for his first exhibition in the USA . The Licht und Schatten exhibition at the MC Gallery in Los Angeles takes its name from Wittgenstein's essay, in which the author compares light to knowledge. In the empty space of the gallery, on one side of the white wall, a full-sized fist protrudes, on the back of the wall there is a recess. It looks like the wall is soft.
