One of the main tasks of the archive is to fulfill requests of a social and legal nature from citizens, courts, enterprises and organizations:

• on the length of service and wages of workers of party, Komsomol bodies and liquidated organizations whose documents were deposited in the archive, on rewarding for honors in work with Honorary diplomas, signs and badges;
• up to 700 requests per year are received from citizens, dioceses , FSB departments, prosecutors, courts, the information center of the Department of Internal Affairs of Kirov and other areas to confirm the fact of repression and rehabilitation , seizure of property of citizens convicted under Art. 58 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR of 1926

The archive actively fulfills a wide variety of thematic requests from institutions, enterprises and organizations, and citizens:

• on sources of financing the construction of buildings, residential premises previously occupied by party bodies, its institutions and employees
• on the belonging of buildings and structures to authorities, local government and the CPSU

Among the users of the reading room are senior students of secondary schools, students working on the first research papers, term papers and diplomas, applicants for academic degrees and titles working on candidate and doctoral dissertations, candidates and doctors of science, including foreign students, representatives of the clergy, writers parish history and preparing materials for the canonization commission.
