History
It was created at the beginning of the 20th century by peasants from the village of Medvedevo (approximately 1916-1918). Medvedev was very densely populated, so there was a need to create a new village. The peasants were offered a choice of two plots of land: near the city of Bologoe and near Medvedevo, two kilometers from Lake Olovenets . The peasants chose the second plot. They named the village by the name of the surveyor Rudakov, who cut land for the new village.
