Club career

Career began at FC Karpaty , where his mother and his brother Gregory took him. Grandfather instilled a love of football, who in his young years acted at an amateur level [2] .

The first coach is a famous Lviv specialist in the field of children's football - Nikolai Dudarenko [2] . It was this mentor who developed talent and brought him and his twin brother to the football world.

Career in the Carpathians has developed rapidly. In the third team, he was led by a coaching triumvirate: Bezubyak, Vilchinsky , Leskiv. However, in the first team of “white-green” he did not find a place. After he played for the Ivano-Frankivsk Spartak , a team that fought for survival. Also in Striysky club " Gazovik-Skala ", later found himself in FC " Lviv ".

Boris, like Gregory, are considered, despite their young age, the old-timers of FC Lviv. Indeed, in this team they are from the first day of the club’s foundation, with whom they have gone from the second league to the Premier League .

In 2003, Boris Baranets played for the mini-football club Invar-Start (Lviv) in two matches of the final of the second league of Ukraine in futsal against the club Amos (4: 3, 4: 7) and scored two goals [3 ] .

He made his debut in the Premier League on July 20, 2008 in the match Lviv - Shakhtar (2-0) [4] . Later he played in the Premier League for the Lviv Carpathians and the Kiev Obolon. July 22, 2010 in the match of the second qualifying round of the Europa League season 2010/11 against the Icelandic “ Reykjavik ” scored a victory and his debut goal in European competition [5] .

After FC Obolon withdrew from the competition, it received the status of a free agent and soon, together with his brother, moved to the second-league Ternopil Niva [6] . In February 2014, together with his brother, he moved to the Kirovograd " Star " [7] . He made his debut for the Kirovograd on March 29, 2014 in the match against the Kharkov Helios. Over time, he became a major player and one of the leaders of the team. As a member of the club in 2016, he became the champion of the First League , but left the team at the end of the season.
