Biography
In 1961 he graduated from the Penza Civil Engineering Institute , in 1974 - from the Higher Party School under the Central Committee of the CPSU .
- 1961-1963 - Assistant at the Department of Building Materials, Penza Engineering and Construction Institute,
- 1964 - 1973 - First Secretary of the Penza regional committee of the Komsomol ,
- 1973-1979 - First Secretary of the Lenin District Committee of the CPSU Penza,
- 1979-1989 - Secretary of the Penza Regional Committee of the CPSU,
- 1989-1990 - Second Secretary of the Penza Regional Committee of the CPSU,
- 1990-1991 - First Secretary of the Penza Regional Committee of the CPSU.
Member of the Central Committee of the CPSU (1990-1991).
In 1994 - 2007 - First Secretary of the Penza Regional Committee of the Communist Party . Member of the Legislative Assembly of the Penza Region of the 2nd convocation ( 1997 - 2002 ).
From 1991 until the end of his life, he worked as deputy chairman of TSO Penzastroy for production.
He was buried in the Walk of Fame of the Newwestern Cemetery of Penza.
