Hombori , formerly Hombori-Tondo [2] ( fr. Monts Hombori ) - the highest mountain in the Republic of Mali , whose height is 1,155 meters. It has a flat, as if cut off top. Located in the central part of the country, in the province of Mopti , on the highway between the cities of Gao and Mopti , near the town of Hombori . Mount Hombori belongs to the northernmost part of the highlands of Bandiagara. .
