Geography
The village is located 10 km south of the city of Aparana and 15 km north of the city of Ashtarak near the villages of Aragats , Artavan and Vardenut .
In Soviet times, a club and a library were built in the village.

The chairman of the local collective farm S. Sargsyan became the winner of the wit competition [1]
