Flamethrower fighting vehicle - a type of armored vehicles, in particular an armored vehicle for flamethrowers . The machine usually uses a tank chassis, with no changes to the hull , except for the fighting compartment and roof. A box-shaped armored superstructure is installed above the fighting compartment. The result of this design is an autonomous flamethrower machine with increased security for the habitable compartment. Designed for use in the fight against well-fortified enemy firing points. The crew , as a rule, consists of a commander , a driver, and a team of flamethrowers . It is the flamethrowers that are the main striking force of the BMO (unlike the flamethrower tank ), firing through loopholes, without leaving the armor [1] .
