History
The main content of the activity of the flamethrower is the conduct of hostilities to destroy manpower, weapons and military equipment, engineering structures and vehicles on the battlefield and behind enemy lines, creating fires, and setting up smoke screens .

Knapsack flamethrowers are used to equip one soldier. Heavy flamethrowers require a combat crew of several people.
