Biography

Originally from Chernihiv . Father is a high-altitude installer, formerly an amateur football player, a player of the Second League of the USSR. Mother - a teacher in a kindergarten, previously worked at a textile mill. There is also an older brother, Roman, now the chef of a restaurant in Spain. She was fond of football from early childhood, often playing with her brother and neighboring children. Parents tried to send the girl to the school of rhythmic gymnastics, but Irina insisted and chose to play football. She wore goalkeeper gloves for the first time at the age of six.

At nine, she enrolled in the football section, and became the only student in the school who decided to go there (none of the boys enrolled in the section). A year later, she moved to Donetsk , despite the objections of her parents: she spent about two years in a sports boarding school. The first coach was Oleg Anatolyevich Trukhan. Irina was the youngest player in the team, and the goalkeeper took the position immediately. At 12, she returned with the team to Chernihiv, and a year later received the first prize for performances.

Club career

Over time, parents reconciled with the choice of Irina and began to support her in everything. Soon Ira became the goalkeeper of the Legend team from Chernihiv, being first in the third team. At the age of 18, she made her debut in the main team already as a full-fledged player in the main team, and also held the first match for the Ukrainian team. In 2002, she even went to Azerbaijan to play for the Gemryukchi club in Baku. At the age of 20, Irina joined the Russian team Energia from Voronezh , where she began to play not as a goalkeeper, but as a right-back, which many perceived with surprise. However, Irina coped with her task and that season was recognized as the best player in her role - the best right-back. 07/20/2004 in the Champions League match against the Macedonian team ZFK Skiponjat Irina scored 3 goals.

After the disbandment of the Voronezh team, Irina received offers from the Russian woman outside Moscow and the Togliatti team. She chose the first option and became the goalkeeper in the team near Moscow. The beginning of the year turned out to be unsuccessful: Irina regularly received numerous injuries and by 2006 she risked staying in reserve altogether, but the psychological support of the team helped her to cope. From 2007 to 2012, Irina was the main goalkeeper of the club, having won the Russian Championship four times and won the Russian Cup five times.

December 31, 2012 Irina signed a six-month contract with the French team "Juvisi" [2] .
