Biography

Born in the family of a middle peasant Stefan Fedorovich Burashnikov and his wife Ksenia Fedorovna. She graduated from a military sports school in Moscow , worked as a physical education instructor in Cheboksary . In 1924 she graduated from the studio at the Chuvash Drama Theater .

In 1937, as the wife of an “enemy of the people” she was dismissed from the theater [2] . On December 5, 1937, a special troika under the NKVD of the Chuvash Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic was condemned in absentia under the article “counter-revolutionary activity” for a term of 8 years with imprisonment in Karlag . In January 1940, the NKVD of the Chuvash Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic revoked the decision of the special troika; was released with a criminal record.

She lived in Moscow.

Family

Husband - Ioakim Stepanovich Maksimov-Koshkinsky (1893-1975) - Chuvash actor and director, organizer of the Chuvash theater and studio " Chuvashkino ", playwright, translator, screenwriter, People's Artist of the Chuvash Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic.

  • daughter of Isis (1930-1963); married to the poet Peter Mikhailovich Gradov (1925-2003);
    • granddaughter Tatyana - starred in the film "Operation" Y "and other adventures of Shurik" (short story "Operation" Y ", the role of the restless girl Lena);
    • grandson Andrei [3] (born 1954) - film actor, Honored Artist of Russia.

In 1972 she published a book of memoirs, “Days and Years Passed” ( Chuvash. Irtnĕ kunsem-kulsem ; reprinted in 2013). In the introduction to it one could read the following lines: “I think ... I am happy. Maybe not all my wishes came true. In my life there were many offensive and sad things. And yet - happy! Because I'm an actress. ” [4]

Rewards

The certificate of honor of the regional committee of the CPSU and the Council of Ministers of the Chuvash Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic (1973) - for services to the development of Chuvash literature and theater art and in connection with the 70th anniversary of his birth .
