Boris Vulfovich Leskin ( born Boris Leskin ; born January 5, 1923 , Chisinau , Bessarabia , Romania ) is a Soviet and American film and theater actor.

Biography
Born on January 5, 1923 .
In 1938, his father was arrested and executed.
During the Great Patriotic War - a sapper at the front, was wounded. He was awarded the Order of the Red Star , medals.
In 1952 he graduated from the A.N. Ostrovsky Leningrad Theater Institute (course of L.F. Makariev ).
In 1951-1980 - actor of the Bolshoi Drama Theater in Leningrad . [1] He made his film debut in 1954 , the master of the comic episode.
Since 1980 - in the United States , was a theater actor in New York . Member of the Oscar nomination committee. For the role of Odessa ’s grandfather in the film “ And Everything Was Illuminated ” (2005, one of the main roles), he was awarded the prize for best actor in the Vladivostok International Film Festival “ Pacific Meridian ” (2006) [2] .
In 2011, the director Eduard Staroselsky shot a documentary about Boris Leskin “Bob. Minesweeper of the Big Dramatic ”(with the participation of Sergey Jurassic , Golden Nick Prize, 2011). [3]
March 9, 2013 Boris Loskin was a member of the television program "Tonight" on Channel One , dedicated to Andrei Mironov . [four]
