Donetsk Upland ( Donetsk Ridge ) is located in southeastern Ukraine, in Donetsk , Luhansk, and partly Kharkiv regions. Length over 350 kilometers. In its limits stands ridge in the south-eastern part. Height up to 367 meters (mountain Tomb Mechetnaya ). Divided by river valleys and ravines . The karst is widespread. Typical anthropogenic landforms ( heaps , quarries , etc.). Deposits of coal , ores of non - ferrous metals , building materials, etc. Lies in the steppe zone, in some places preserved areas of deciduous forests.
