Biography
By nationality - Hungarian [2] . He started playing football in 1943 in the youth team of the Mukachevo tobacco factory. Then he moved to the local “Bolshevik”, from there - to Uzhgorod “Spartak”. He served in the GDO (Stanislav), Spartak (Stanislav) , the Lviv ODO [3] , and then transferred to the Central Military Administration . In the championships of the USSR he spent 35 matches, scored 2 goals.
He played 2 matches for the USSR national team (including 1 match for the USSR Olympic team).
At the end of his career, he graduated from the Leningrad Institute of Physical Culture. Lesgaft . In 1961-1972, with small interruptions, he trained the Rostov SKA . Then 2.5 years he worked in Poland with a team of the Northern Group of Forces . Subsequently, coached various teams of the USSR.
He spent the last years of his life in his native Mukachevo, was elected an honorary resident of the city. In 2004, journalist Ivan Zhirosh wrote a book about him - “The Way to Olympus” [4] .
