Parov Stelar is the pseudonym for musician Marcus Füreder ( German: Marcus Füreder ), the leader of the band of the same name from the Austrian city of Linz . The peculiarity of their music is a diverse mix of jazz , house , IDM and downtempo . Marcus Fuhreder is the founder of the electro-swing music genre.

Group Leader
Marcus was born in 1974 in Linz , Austria . In 2000, he began to write music. Starting with minimal techno , he became a pioneer in the electro-swing genre: collecting old records, he once stumbled upon vinyl Billy Holiday . To the player who put the record, Marcus came up with the idea of adding a minimal beat - so, in his words, the new electronic genre was born [1] .
Among the publishers of his music are such labels as Sunshine Enterprises , Auris , Big Sur and Etage Noir . Also written under the pseudonyms Cash Candy and Plasma (14) .
Fuhreder is the head of Etage Noir Recordings .
