Buddleya Davidida , or buddleya variability ( lat. Buddléja davídii ) - a type of plants belonging to the genus Buddley of the family Nornichnikovye .

The species is named after the French missionary and naturalist Armand David , who discovered this species.
Buddley David - deciduous shrub , reaches a height of 2-3 m.
Leaves - ovate-lanceolate, pointed at the ends, reach a length of 25 cm.
The flowers are small, 1.5 cm in diameter, lilac in color, collected in spikelike inflorescences . Inflorescences reach a length of 40 cm.
Buddley David is a species popular in ornamental gardening .
There are many varieties with different shades of flowers:
- Buddleja davidii 'Cardinal' - beaters bright crimson-pink;
- Buddleja davidii 'Empire Blue' - purple-blue flowers with an orange peephole;
