Achillea millefolium ( lat.Achilléa glabérrima ) is a very rare species of herbaceous plants from the genus Yarrow of the Astra family (or Compositae ).

Content
Biological DescriptionYarrow - a perennial plant. Propagated by seeds . It blooms in July and August. Fruits in August and September.
The height of the plant is 16-35 centimeters.
The rhizome is short.
Petiole leaves pinnatipartite, linear, darkish. The stems are few, bare. In the axils of the stem leaves are shortened leafy branches.
Tongues of regional flowers of bright yellow color. Inflorescences are baskets collected in loose complex guards .
Guard StatusYarrow - narrowly endemic . This is one of the rarest species on the planet [2] . In its natural form, it is found on granite outcrops of the "Bestash Mountains" only in the territory of the Stone Graves Nature Reserve. It grows on granite rocks and crevices on an area of 4 km² and among petrophytic vegetation . It grows both in individual plants and in groups.
Also, this species is grown in Kiev [3] and Donetsk botanical gardens.
In 1980, this species was listed in the Red Book of the Ukrainian SSR. In 1991, entered the European Red List . It is entered in the Red Book of Ukraine .
