The Troy Summer Palace [1] ( cc . Trojský zámek ) is the first summer country palace in Prague (czech letohrádek ). Built in the eponymous suburb of Prague on the banks of the Vltava in 1679-91. imperial graphs Sternberki on the baroque project of the French émigré Jean-Batista Matei
The moldings of the stairs leading to the garden were made by the Herman brothers from Dresden . Invited Italians and Dutch worked on the intricate frescoes inside the palace; of them the most famous is the ceiling on the apotheosis of the Hapsburgs .
At present, paintings of nineteenth-century Czech artists are on display in the building, as well as a wine museum. A monument to Jan Hus (1926) is installed near the manor house, and Prague Zoo and the Botanical Garden are located a little further away.
