The Futsal Association of Ukraine ( Ukrainian Asotsiatsia Futsal of Ukraine ) is an all-Ukrainian public sports organization founded on March 9, 1993 .
History
Before the Association of mini-football of Ukraine was established, Alexander Khandryga was the head of mini-football in the republic. Until 1991, Handryga was a member of the committee on the mini-football of the USSR Football Federation (chairman of the committee Semen Andreev), and after that headed the Union of mini-football clubs of Ukraine,
On March 9, 1993, in Dnepropetrovsk, in the conference hall of the Rassvet Hotel, there was an installation conference on the establishment of the Futsal Association (Futsal), in which Gennady Lisenchuk was elected President of the Futsal Association (Futsal), one voice ahead of another candidate - Director plant "Red Profintern" Eugene Tsymbala. Lysenchuk headed the AMPU for almost twenty years, and left the post only at the end of 2012 [1] . Yuriy Sorochik became interim head of the AMPU.
In March 2013, at the next AMFU conference, Sergey Vladyko was elected the president of the association [2] .
Tournaments
The following tournaments are regularly held under the auspices of the association:
- Ukrainian futsal championship ,
- Cup of Ukraine on mini-football ,
- Ukrainian futsal championship for women ,
- Amateur League of Futsal of Ukraine
In addition, the association includes the Ukrainian youth futsal league (UCLF), which is engaged in holding junior futsal competitions.
