In “Ajax” Arno never became a player of the basic structure, for three seasons Splinter played only 9 matches. In June 1999, Splinter moved to the De Grafshap club. In June 2003, Splinter was watched in the Russian Torpedo-Metallurg , but in the end did not fit the coaching staff [7] .
From 2003 to 2008, Arno played for the Bennekom amateur club, which played in one of the Netherlands lower divisions. The head coach of AGOVV Apeldoorn at that time was John van den Brom , as a player John played with Arno at De Grafshape [9] . Arno made his debut for the club on October 3, 2008 in a match against Valvejk , which ended in a guest defeat of AGOVV Apeldoorn 3-1 [10] .
