Career
In the past, a Brazilian national team player. The most famous was speaking for the Brazilian club of his hometown - Gremio (winner of the Brazil Cup 2001) and Internacional (winner of the Libertadores Cup 2006). He also played for the German club Borussia (Dortmund).
In 2010, he returned to the International at the stage of the semi-finals of the Libertadores Cup. He played at the base of Inter in the return final match against Guadalajara and became one of the best players in the meeting. For the second time in its history, Internacional won the main South American trophy, and Tinga became involved in both victories, despite a 4-year voyage to Germany.
At the end of May 2012, Tinga moved to Cruzeiro, with whom he won the Brazilian championship at the end of next year.
